Wednesday we had a sold out launch party at the Jolly Miller Pub, and unveiled the "My Neighbourhood, My City, My Candidate" theme for the Campaign. I had a great time with friends and family, and even met some folks who will be first time voters in Chilliwack. We also took the time to celebrate the first of the Advanced Polls. The final tally looks like the numbers were up ...more than 75% from 2011. Hopefully we can keep up the momentum for this week - Advanced Poll (Wednesday, November 12 at City Hall) and Election Day (November 15th) I also had the opportunity to visit folks at Hampton House, and share a Jason Lum Campaign first - Karaoke! Thanks to Tracey and the amazing residents at Hampton for being so generous with activity time - I'm practicing my Sinatra for a return visit. Lastly - we found out this week that our Campaign has been endorsed again by the Firefighters in Chilliwack. As a Candidate that has focused on the importance of Public Safety, this endorsement means a lot. I am very appreciative of the work of our team, from our POC's to our full-time staff - these men and women put their lives on the line for Public Safety, and I appreciate their hard work and dedication.
We have a very busy week ahead with a lot of very cool things to share with you. Stay tuned to the website and social media for more to come!
