Thank You Chilliwack!
Thank you all for the kind words, congratulations, and advice!
To all of the candidates, it was genuinely a great experience running for office with you. This process generated a lot of good ideas, and the Council elect would be foolish not to continue on some of the discussion that came as a result of the candidates debates and meetings. It is not an easy thing to put yourselves out in the public eye, you should be commended for your commitment to Chilliwack, and to democracy.
To the residents of Chilliwack, thank you for placing your trust and confidence in me as one of your City Councillors. It is a strong Council team, and I am looking forward to working hard to ensure we are always listening, learning, and engaging with the citizens of Chilliwack to help build a healthy community.
So, what's next? in terms of this website, I will be transitioning it over to a personal website for the next three years. I intend to keep it as an open forum for people to ask questions, post comments, etc. In terms of Council - Monday morning I was buried in emails about the next steps. Officially we will be sworn in on Tuesday, December 6th at 7pm at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre. In between now and then I'll keep busy taking down signs, and re-aquainting myself with my family :)

We're very glad and ready to gain from your counselling which for long have been of importance to me as an individual. With the plan of creating an open forum we are definitely going to continue learning more. Thanks for this.
